GTT Sees Significant Sales Growth

Posted on December 5, 2007 | Filed Under GTT News

Demand for Global Tracking Technologies solutions looks very promising for 2008.

GTT has had its best year in 2007 and the sales picture for 2008 and into 2009 looks very promising. The key factors determining this positive trend are:

  • GTT has developed significant long term domestic and international business.
  • The GPS tracking industry is maturing with a move away from low volume purchasing innovators, into market specific early adopters looking to enhance their existing product and services. This growth trend is mainly seen in the logistics and supply chain industries with GTT securing contracts with 5 companies who operate in this space. GTT’s customers have chosen our solutions in part to our longevity and experience in the marketplace.
  • International mobile telephony markets opening up and actively promoting the GTT Virtual Tracking Service Provider program to their business and corporate customers.
  • Setting up a Middle East office to service our customers in Saudi Arabia and to develop new business across the Gulf and into North Africa
  • A reawakening of the GPS based offender tracking potential in Non-USA markets and GTT has been engaged to consult and advise on a number of programs
  • GTT has developed solutions aimed at a global user base and not a country specific user base. This has seen GTT solutions scale rapidly internationally on the back of widely available GPRS data networks and our hosted ASP tracking solution with full international vector and satellite mapping.

Floyd Raynard, CEO of GTT says, "2008 is going to be a phenomenal year for GTT and we look forward to providing GTT’s innovative solutions to customers existing and new across the Globe so we can truly deliver Global tracking technology."

Global Tracking Technologies LLC has been working on a number of new developments to enhance our product offering across a number of our core gps tracking target markets.

Safe Box Security

On-going work with our clients in the logistics and security space has resulted in the development of a unique SAFEBOX tracking and tampering alert system. The key benefits of this systems are:

  • enhanced GPS reception within metal surroundings and when the box is stored indoors
  • alert on door opening: sensor technology within the tracking device co-ordinates with GTT’s gps tracking system to issue instant SMS and email alerts when the safebox door is opened outside of an authorised area or not at a specified time.

Tests on this system are currently underway and the system will be ready for commercial use in January 2008.

GPS Vehicle Tracking Systems

The current market conditions are dictating that low cost GSM and CDMA GPS trackers will be in high demand in 2008 and 2009. GTT is also in discussions regarding the setting up an assembly facility in the Middle East.
